Unveiling superfast USB 3.0 webcam, Point Gray reigns supreme

The super speed USB 3.0 is still juvenile; we haven’t had much of this tech yet. To give us a glimpse of the potentiality, Point Gray has designed a USB 3.0 compatible webcam. Besides this the webcam also gains a stride with the ability to capture full-HD in 1080p @ 60 frames per second. Featuring a 3 megapixel Sony IMX036 CMOS image sensor with 1920×1080 pixels, which backed by the USB 3.0’s enhanced bandwidth, facilitate the output of raw and uncompressed data at a higher resolution and frame rate. There are talks of 3D webcams coming real, and with this initiation of USB 3.0 webcams, I think the random webcams will soon lose out.
