Special suits for US war-zone flyers detect vitals to keep them breathing
Bharat | Jun 27 2009

UAVs are being built like pizzas lately. Technology still hasn’t got an appropriate solution for the human ingenious, and thus hasn’t been able to keep pilots from taking to the skies. US Navy senses a flyer’s importance, for which they have initiated to fund projects to design full-body medical assessment suits for pilots who fly high beyond the bounds of oxygen.

Yes, the military trains personals for just about any emergency and the oxygen supplementation above 10,000 feet is mandatory, still dozens of things can go wrong with the system and there is no second take then. Oxygen deprivation is one major tragedy that can arise up there, thus these special suits with built-in physiological assessment systems, to be designed to monitor a pilot’s body vitals could relay the symptoms of the catastrophe early and thereby help in saving the flyer’s life.
