Stocking lunar memorabilia at home is a rarity, yet there isn’t anything better for a space enthusiast. So, if you’re one, then July 16th is the day when you can get some pieces of space history back home. Bonhams is conducting an auction of space goodies to commemorate the 40th anniversary of man’s landing on the moon.
The goodies up for auction include items the crew members of the Apollo 11 carried onto the moon’s surface, which to name a few comprise of flight plans, star charts, models, specimen collection cases etc. Checklists used by astronauts in process of landing are also available for estimated price of $125,000-$175,000. I don’t have enough money for the auction nor for the Virgin Galactic, but if you have some to spare for passion, I hope you’ll make use of it.
