It’s been a while since we had heard of something really interesting in the short throw projectors. Hitachi may have had heard the call and thus at the CEATEC 2009, they introduced the CP-A200J, the latest phenomenon in the short throw line of projectors. A super short focus 3LCD video projector, the projector uses a mirror system that projects up to an 80-inches display from only 63cm away from the screen. The mirror system within the projector works as a image magnifier allowing the projector itself to manage the distance on the short throw. Offering a bright image 3000 Lumen and an XGA 1024×768-resolution 3LCD display technology, the projector may be released in the Japanese market by December 1. There is no word on the price yet.
