Fujifilm does photography on touch with the FinePix Z300
Bharat | Jun 12 2009

Were we bored with the conventional button clicking to capture images from our prized cameras, and wanted touch interface to interfere for the good? Perhaps in the FinePix Z300 from Fujifilm we have what we wanted. This 10MP digital camera lets the user focus on the subject and then click it with a mere touch on the screen on the rear of the camera. For the conventional good however, the camera keeps the shutter button, but with the novelty included, the FinePix Z300 is surely a camera a pro and an amateur both would like to possess. With a LCD of 3 inches in size, the digicam features a 5x optical zoom, 100 to 1600 ISO speed and records videos at 30fps. For easy transfer of images to the PC, the camera supports a USB port, while for storage the camera has 31MB of memory plus space for an SD/SDHC card. Not lined for international release yet, the FinePix Z300 will grace the Japanese market for $400 beginning June 20.
