First Portable HDTV DVD Player is functionally exciting
Bharat | Sep 17 2009

A combination too vivid is one that combines a DVD player with a HDTV. Now, when the comb is delivered in the most portable size, the large functionality received in a small package, it should be mesmerizingly cool. And such is the first of its kind mishmash of a HDTV and DVD player.

Measuring as small as 10 1/4″ L x 5 1/2″ D x 9″ H, and weighing about 3 lbs, this setup is somewhat the size of a small netbook. Featuring a HD 16:9 aspect ratio 7-inch TFT display and a sensitive external antenna and digital tuner to muster high-definition images at 720p, the device’s built-in DVD player supports both DVDs and CDs. Offering a modest screen resolutions of 480 x 234 with 400:1 contrast ratio the combo makes provision for built-in memory card reader thereby facilitating users to view images and videos directly from cameras or camcorders.

Priced at $299.95, the system has battery backup of about two hours for HDTV viewing, and about 2 1/2 hours for DVDs. It also comes with an USB port and a rechargeable battery, so you can have your pick, I’d make a buyers bid for this one.
