Espresso Book Machine prints any book in real time

Vending everything out of those machines has become a fashion just recently. Adding to the ordinary coffee and drinks vending machines and to the modern condom dispensing machines is this new Espresso Book Machine that prints and vends out any book from a large computer database only on a touch of a button. With the pace at which reading habits have become extinct, in same velocity books have vanished from the stores and libraries. Computer is the sole phenomenon that’s brought about the change, and it is the source which will now assist to re-instill the book-o-mania amid people.

Launched by book chain Blackwell, the machine prints out an entire book on demand in under five minutes. Over 400,000 books, including out-of-work books, can be printed and made available to the readers, who can fetch them at the same price as they would be brought off the shelves (barring out-of-copyright books which’ll be printed at 10p a page). The user can access a catalog on an attached kiosk, then on pressing the Make Book have the book printed in split seconds.

First the cover is done, then the pages and then the entire thing is glued together before being trimmed down to the size of an A4 sheet and seeing them dispatched out of the machine as an entire book. Laureates can enjoy texts they have been searching for years and young writers can have their works printed in form of a book in minutes, by just feeding in the data to the computer attached to the machine.
