We’re in an era where hybrids have become a social norm. Be it humans, who have to be multitalented, computers that have to stuff in multicore processors or autos that fit both petrol and electric engines. Now, living to the need of the hour, Epson has delivered the PictureMate Show, a digital photo frame and a photo printer hybrid.
The PictureMate Show is a 7-inch photo frame with a WVGA screen offering 800 x 480 pixel resolution. For the printing chores, the photo frame can print 4- x 6-inch borderless photos in 37 seconds with 5760 x 1440 dpi and can then automatically save them. With 270MB internal memory, the PictureMate Show has Auto Photo Correction technology which helps correct color, balance and red eyes, and users also get manual options to edit the photo.
Available for $300, the remote controlled PictureMate Show is compatible with Windows and Mac and can print photos from USB thumb drives and almost all the memory cards.
