There rarely are notebooks that floor us. But this CES there have been a host of them that have kept us in the hunt for features and most for a mere look at them. Nano-powered notebooks were missing here until now, therefore when Dr. Mobile introduced a VIA Nano-powered notebook based on the OpenBook reference design at CES, there was no reason why we wouldn’t have it here. Dr. Mobile’s notebook dubbed the FreeStyle Mini will be an 8.9-inch, 2GB RAM and 160GB hard drive notebook. Featuring 1024 x 600 display, the VIA Nano-powered FreeStyle Mini with VX800 chipset and integrated video decoding will also support Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and optional 3G/Wimax. Dr. Mobile also has a 11.6-inch notebook running on VX800 chipset, supporting 1366 x 768 display and VIA Nano 1.3GHz processor. Stick around for more on Dr Mobile’s laptops that may be available sometime in February.
