I hadn’t heard of designer Guy Ceder before I stumbled across his Buddy PC concept featured on Tuvie. Now, what’s got me for this is the utter simplicity that Guy has put this concept computer system together, by drawing inspiration from ordinary in-home furniture. As a Buddy in reality, the PC system caters to each computing need of an individual and keeps him conversant every moment.
The Buddy is configured in three basic components, while the first is an independent small touchscreen tablet; the other is a comparatively larger touchscreen platform that connects to a projector system to amplify the entertainment at home. No information on the actual display sizes and specs to tell you, but the third component is a module that has all other hardware and utilities that are most required, and also doubles as a charging station for the other two components.
Though the first two components of the Buddy can function independent of each other, there is an enhance ability which lets the user use the smaller tablet as a wireless keyboard for the larger system.
