When I covered Asus’ intention of delivering an e-book reader, in all hopes I mentioned that the manufacturer would certainly have something interesting to show in the price department. Yet, never in the wildest of my dreams did I think they’d do a dual screen e-book reader (with color) and that too at only $164, price low enough to send the likes of Sony and Amazon scratching their brains to think beyond.
The cool dual screen is just as fantastic as reading the good old texts, I’d just love this concept. As it is I have always been fascinated by the dual screen part of things. And in case you believe otherwise, Asus’ e-book reader could still be your choice, read text on one side and do the other web related stuff on the other – I think they’ll have the provision set. Avid user might just have to shed some more for the e-book reader with more storage capacity and 3G support.
