If you are game to dish out $14,000 for heights of extreme fun, then the Air Board, a personal hovercraft of sorts, is ready to take you to a new level of adrenal-gushing experience. A personal hovercraft of sorts, because this real thing cannot float over the water as a true hovercraft does, instead with the ability to hover a good 8 inches off the ground, the Air Board can garner speed of about 15mph when being driven over concrete, asphalt, grass or shallow wet areas.
Controlled by two levers (acceleration and break) on the steering bar, the Air Board can be maneuvered in all direction by merely varying degrees in weight transfer, and skateboarding skills could help. The hovercraft adds to that with its abilities to turn from 180º to 360º, and to slide in turns with all affirmative, so you liked turns didn’t you? In the economically sick scenario, the hovercraft’s gas capacity of 1.3 gallons is good only for an hour of use, may just be an ask too much… but then if you’re good for $14,000 – you must be a rich dude to breed the Air Board.
