Envy could be a driving force for HP in the thin laptops market. Hold - it’s no jealousy against the MacBook Air or the Dell Adamo, but is a new line of ultra-thin laptops from Hewlett Packard. Dubbed as the HP Envy, the new laptops will be in 13.1-inch and 15.6-inch LED backlit screens.
Though, both models offer sublime uniqueness when it comes to thinness, yet we have our eyes set on the 0.8-inch-thin Envy 13, which is the 13.1-inch model. Not actually there to set the 0.76-inch thin MacBook Air, or the even thinner Dell Adamo on the back-foot, the Envy 13 however is way ahead of everything with a battery life touted at staggering 18 hours @ price beginning at $1,699.
Running an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz processor with 3GB of RAM and a 512MB ATI Mobile Radeon HD graphics card, the Envy 13 also features a multi-touch pad and has its weight cut down to 3.74 pounds.
For similarity, both laptops have a “Beats Audio,” “the most powerful audio experience at a premium notebook line.”But still the HP Envy 15, the 15.6-inch version is a more powerful machine featuring an Intel Core i7 processor supported by almost 16GB of internal memory.
